Project 365: Accidental

Sometimes, the best shots are accidental.

Take this one for example.  I wa sjust messing around with Kandy’s 50mm prime lens on my D40.  And I do have to say, as the day went along, the more comfortable I got with the prime lens.

I spent the 45 minutes prior to theis shot taking flicks of Shannel and Chez (some of which miight show up alter this week).

Then, as Cherl finished work, I had to take a shot of her.  Just so happened that I thought I pulled the shutter too early, as I was trying to focus.  I thought I didnt’ get everything in focus, but it just so happened Cheryl’s head was in focus, and an amazing bokeh effect on the rest of the shot.  The blur of Cheryl’s car & the focus on Cheryl was really a pretty good mistake.

If only I could be so lucky sometimes.
