So, just did a but of sprucing up in here. Added a new background and made another new post, yay!

Well, this one I’m updating from the iPhone, so I’m not seeing the new design until I get to a proper computer.

But, from the iPhone screen, things look pretty decent. I think this will take some getting used to, blogging from a phone again, as such.

But, as far as blogging platforms go, I’m still very partial to WordPress because Tumblarity is kinda dumb.

Hope to keep the posts flowing.

Here we go with another mysterious blog post.

This time, I’m testing out the brand new WordPress 2.0 app from the iPhone.

So far, I’m digging this. I think this has a ton of potential to take mobile blogging to another level. I wholeheartedly believe that I should utilize this more than the Tumblr I’ve been working on. But, we shall see how that turns out.

OK, making an effort to try and update this site as well. If you haven’t figured out http://www.MisterJAllDay.com goes to my tumblr page, which gives me a bit more flexibility on what types of things I can post. But now that WordPress has come up with this twitter-like theme for blogs, I think it might be easier to do texts posts on here.

Hmm, let’s see how often I can keep this up.

Project 365: Solve the Puzzle

Slowly learning how to use this lens. Props to Kandy for the quick session on how to balance ISO/Exposure Compensation/Aperture/Shutter. Super helpful.

So, hopefully, shots like this are done on purpose & not accidentally. This one was taken a few days ago, after seeing one of the homies throwdown a mixed up Rubik’s Cube in 90 seconds. Wish I had a camera that recorded video, because that was pretty epic seeing someone twist & solve the cub in person.

So, I’m guessing the key to solving how to balance all those picture elements is kinda like solving a Rubik’s Cube. Once you got it, it gets easier.

Currently, I’m learning to love shooting in full manual. It’s pretty awesome knowing how to use all the control I’m given.
